What

a great day! The beauty of autumn at Pittsburgh is important for the success of

come. In front of those food stalls there were always a long line, which gave

the Festival an aura of bustling.

The

Chinese teacher volunteers of the Confucius Institute at the University of

Pittsburgh elaborately prepared some cultural crafts such as “Journey to the

West” shadow play, the traditional instrument Hulusi, the Four Treasures for

calligraphy and the Handkerchief for the Northeast Dancing “Er’renzhuan” for

the visitors to experience. Thus, “Confucius Institute Chinese Class” is

extended from the classrooms, the schools to communities! Some of the students

who are learning Chinese at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg also attended

the Festival, they really enjoyed

tasting Chinese culture and food this way. Meanwhile, Mr. QiuJian, the Deputy

also the American local people in Pittsburgh, providing a significant platform
